Bookings

Booking enquiries are welcome by email or by telephone. Emails will be answered promptly and if I am not available to take your telephone enquiry please leave a message and I shall return your call as soon as I can.

A booking is accepted when I receive a deposit and you receive written confirmation from me. Please check that the confirmation details are correct.

Payment

To secure your booking I require a deposit of £75 with the balance due 28 days before the start of your holiday. If you are booking within four weeks of arrival the whole amount will be due on booking.

Cancellation

In the event of cancellation deposits are normally non-refundable. If you have to cancel less than four weeks prior to your holiday the full balance may be payable unless we can re-let the cottage. You may wish to consider a cancellation insurance policy against this eventuality.

Arrival

Well Cottage will be available for you from 3.00 pm on the day of arrival. Parking is on the roadside.

Departure

Please vacate the cottage by 10.00 am on the day of departure to allow us time to prepare the cottage for the next guests. Please lock the door and post the key through the letterbox when you leave.

Number of Guests

The number of guests staying at the cottage must not exceed those named at the time of booking

Damages and Breakages

We do not accept any responsibility for loss or damage to guests’ personal effects or property whilst staying at Well Cottage

We do appreciate that accidents can and do happen so please inform us of any breakages or damage so that we can make it good for the incoming guests

Access

We reserve the right of reasonable access to the cottage at all times but where possible we will advise you in advance if access is required

Pets

We allow one small pet by arrangement.

Smoking

Please note that Well Cottage is strictly non-smoking. If you choose to smoke outside in the courtyard please dispose of your cigarette ends sensibly. We reserve the right to seek compensation for any damage and additional costs of cleaning if the non-smoking policy is not observed.
