Well Cottage is a 200 year old stone built cottage in the heart of the Peak District National Park. Situated in a quiet corner of the picturesque upland White Peak village of
Youlgrave, it is just a short walk to the beautiful Bradford Dale where the riverside walk from East to West ends at the old packhorse bridge at Alport, the confluence of the rivers Bradford and Lathkill and the gateway to Lathkill Dale.
A cosy two bedroom cottage, it has been recently refurbished to a high standard whilst retaining the exposed beams and the traditional spiral staircase. The property has full gas central heating and a small courtyard to the front with seating area.

Well Cottage is ideally situated for exploring the Peak District with numerous walks in the surrounding area. Bradford Dale, Lathkill Dale and
Robin Hood’s Stride are just a few of the delights on the doorstep. Bakewell, Matlock,
Haddon Hall and
Chatsworth House are nearby and for those train enthusiasts, the
Peak Rail is within easy reach.
Youlgrave boasts three excellent public houses all serving food and a variety of beers including locally brewed ales. There is also a post office, a general store and a butcher’s shop/delicatessen.
We look forward to welcoming you to Well Cottage.
